Sometimes baby does not want to be photographed, and in this case Aurora simply wanted time with Mom and Dad. The fuss in front of the camera meant little to the 3 week old, who simply was not interested. As the baby photographer I had my work cut out so with gentle coaxing, quick timing and with a little luck we were able to capture some terrific photos.
I found myself leaning towards the black and white photos this time and I think it was a good choice, although not every baby photo ended up being black and white. I think the tender moments show through with black and white, and are so much more apparent – not to forget the fun moments of course.

Born in Pretoria and grew up in Johannesburg, and that wraps up that part about me.
I have over the years been fortunate enough to have traveled around South Africa, from Johannesburg to Cape Town to Durban, I have seen the Kimberly Great Hole and Wild Life in the Kruger National Park. St Lucia Wetlands to the Karoo.
With so many places seen its no surprise I follow the shadow of photography so avidly.
I have always enjoyed photography, ever since I had my first camera. I have always worked towards a great photo, and as time moved on so has my skilled and inch by inch I have gotten better. Years later I realised that this is where I want to be, a photographer and so each day I work towards being the best I can be.
