The best thing to do once you have had the wedding ceremony, had friends and family along to the reception, where there was good food, good memories, amazing people and the love of two people. The next best thing is to do it all again, but this time skip the ceremony and go straight to the wedding reception. This time keep it casual, and with a venue that allows everyone to relax and enjoy each others company. The bride and groom took this opportunity to dress in their Wedding Day best. This makes perfect sense since if you going to put so much effort into choosing just the right dress to match the perfect shoes then it stands to reason wearing everything just once is simply missing an opportunity. Of course this does mean you an chance for the photographer to get a few select photos of the couple in London.
The lamb Tavern in the Leadenhall market is a tremendous venue, and this is where the wedding couple decided to meet the day after the wedding to celebrate with those from the previous day and a few who could not make it. As one of the wedding photographers on the day, it was really great to photograph the moments knowing there is no rush and I can let the flow of the happen is did. The affair was jovial and warm-hearted with the bride and groom constantly greeting someone special as they arrived.
But this was not all, as the afternoon moved on the celebration spread down the stairs to Old Toms Bar, with wall tiles that date back to the 19th Century, Old Toms bar has an atmosphere all its very own.
I must thank Christopher Martin for the opportunity to be a second photographer on the day, he is a great fellow and so very easy to get along with.
